History

Akdemir Teknik Makine A.Ş. has been established in 1989 in Istanbul-Tahtake with limited facilities under the business name Akdemir Trading.

The corporation has performed its first export by perusing the emerging demand and export potential upon the disintegration of the Eastern Bloc in 1992.

Imports of certain products procured domestically has started to be performed to respond to the rapidly and continuously increasing demand.

First sales and supply office has been established in China for the purpose of responding to the demands received overseas and from Turkish market in the quickest and best possible way.

Decision has been made to invest in the construction chemicals upon reviewing the rapidly increasing demand in this sector. Acting as the pioneer and leader in the construction chemicals sector, AKFIX brand has been established and manufacturing under this brand was initiated accordingly.

RTRMAX brand has been established to respond to the demands and requirements of the sector with respect to the electric-powered hand tools.

Overseas branching activities have been accelerated. Central Asia, North Africa and Europe have been identified as target markets, and sales and distribution points started to be established in these regions.

Investments were performed in the plastics sector and the manufacturing has been initiated within the group of garden equipments and industry, industrial and irrigation hose.

Investments were performed in lighting and electrical equipment sector.

Sharp and abrasive product range has been established and offered for sale.

Branded product portfolio has continued to be developed and Pneumatic Hand Tools series was established.

Number of authorized technical services has been increased.  250 authorized technical services offer its services to fulfil the best servicing and spare part supplies for its professional and amateur users within the shortest time possible. Our first branch was established in Europe.

Coal-less battery-powered machinery and single battery system have been developed. XLION series were introduced to market.

Akdemir Teknik Makina Pazarlama Sanayi A.Ş. has been established. The China office has been restructured for the purpose of offering faster and better to customers, and to improve operations in the Chinese domestic market.
